"I remember first being introduced to Elissa through a mutual friend, renowned chiropractor Dr. Dennis Colonello after telling him that my mother had just been diagnosed with  stage IV colon cancer with a very grim prognosis. I was in a desperate and dark place, spiritually as well as mentally. He described this woman he knew well as an immensely compassionate spirit with a superior amount of information regarding general health/wellness and in particular, cancer treatment options, both Western and alternative/holistic. I met with her immediately at her lovely home, festooned with an eclectic mix of so. Cal beach and far East decor, it had a very tranquil feel...she  greeted me with the most loving, piercing blue eyes, and everything the doctor said was so true and then some.

We seemed to instantly connect when I told her of my emotional and mental struggles regarding my mother's health issue and weighing all the different treatment options; she met my concerns with profound and practical advice along with the honesty in relating her own heart-wrenching story, the unbelievable loss of not one but two husbands to the disease. She guided me through the arduous process of preparing me and my ailing mother for the long trip to a  German clinic for extensive alternative cancer treatment, helping me every step of the way with everything from offering resources to local holistic/alternative healers and doctors to compliment the treatment here in the states,  references of previous/current patients of the foreign clinic  to, acting as the ultimate channel of communication, establishing a report and correspondence (helping with the vast time difference) setting up phone appointments, acting as a reliable liaison  to just being a strong shoulder to cry on, ever generous with her time in such a hectic schedule.

I will never forget her even driving out to see my mother in person right before the trip, holding her hand, giving her hugs and reassuring her of what may lie ahead. Elissa warmed up her weary soul;she seemed do be shrouded in spirit. My mother did go through some successful treatment at the clinic  but eventually succumbed to her condition a few months later. I never regret a moment of all we did to try and save her life;but my mother seemed ready to transform. I was of course devastated emotionally but Ellissa coached me through that whole time helping me spiritually in ways I don't think she will ever know. And out of a seeming tragedy a new beauty would blossom. I knew from that day forward that a much longer exchange lie before her and I, a lifelong friendship that I am so very grateful to be able to call upon today. 

That was nearly four years ago, and during that time I have witnessed Elissa's ever flourishing hub of vital resources and unquenching thirst for knowledge regarding health and wellness life coaching. I consider her to be an unwavering authority on the subject; nonetheless, she makes you feel like a participant in the process, never talking down to or patronizing. She addresses the whole being: body, mind and spirit. Elissa gives you her tools and shows you how to work them; she enables her client to work with and through her,  ultimately for the sake of working for his or her own-self. She is a channel of hope and of healing and her energy seems limitless, always offering wisdom with a megawatt smile. Her help comes from a menagerie of sources. She even introduced me to a wondrous and enchanting soul named Kathryn who serves this world as a medium between spirit and form; the words this woman utters is nothing short of miraculous.  

I always go to Elissa when I have any issue regarding my health and well being, particularly when I'm looking for all of the options there may be on any one subject; she doesn't put down one school of thought over the other, she truly offers impartial strategy to coping with whatever the imbalance may be. I love her of course as a dear and trusted friend and confident; but this lady really knows what she's doing, no bones about it. A lot of people can claim these same attributes and I don't mean to put down knowledge acquired through extensive training/schooling coupled with a sincere desire to help individuals. But I strongly feel that what gives Elissa the edge is her expansive knowledge met with an incredible compassion through her personal journeys: she's been there!
